Happy Lift™ Threads are fully dissolvable (made of polycaprolactone). On their surface there are small hooks which anchoring within skin lift it up enhancing face oval and lead to increase of fibroblasts amount and collagen fibres.

The usage of Happy Lift Threads is especially recommended to people between 35-60 years of age who want to make their skin younger, but at the same time, avoid operative procedure. They can also be used in case of younger people in order to correct existing asymmetry. In case of people over 60 years of age the usage of threads depends on the condition of the skin.

Contraindications:

  • taking antithrombotic and anti-inflammatory medicine

The process of treatment:

After thorough disinfection and topical anaesthesia, threads are put into skin through injection points with the use of implantation technique properly chosen for the area undergoing the treatment. The treatment does not require any cuts so it leaves no scars, and the effect is visible immediately after the end of the treatment and is comparable with the effect of traditional lifting.

Post treatment indications:

In order to properly implant threads and to achieve the optimal effect of the treatment it is necessary to follow post treatment indications: avoid excessive facial expression, e.g. laughing, yawning or a visit at a dentist’s. It is recommended to supinate during night for 3-4 days and to wash and touch the face with clean hands only in a very delicate manner. After a fortnight you can return to doing sport, but intensive effort shall not take place until after a month.

Convalescence time:

After the treatment the skin can be oedematous and some roughness can appear (rugosity of excessive skin) which shall disappear after 2 weeks maximum. Additionally, in the area where the thread was placed may appear: slight swelling, bruises or haematoma which shall disappear within 7-14 days. Moreover, for circa 2 weeks patients can experience facial expression discomfort.

The effect of the treatment:

The effect of lifting tissues is visible after the treatment. Additionally, with the time passing (12-15 months after the treatment), threads undergo natural dissolution in the organism stimulating collagen synthesis at the same time, what makes the skin firmer.

The persistence of the treatment effect:

The effect of the treatment depends on patient’s individual predispositions and is visible for circa 2-3 years, and if needed, it can be repeated.
